Leading an Encircle gathering

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to understand how to lead an Encircle Micro-Church. As a Church we seek to bring light into dark places, we know it is necessary to make time to meet together. Meeting together as people under Christ is imperative.

An Encircle gathering strives to encircle God, each other (the Church), and the communities we inhabit. The five interchangeable moves, below, help lead us to achieve this mission as we listen, grow, and keep each other accountable to the things God is teaching us.

Each Encircle is encouraged to use each of the moves whenever you meet. To help you, each logo below has some tips and/or a simple outline to follow. We have made each move as simple as possible so that anyone can lead a gathering at there level of knowledge and understanding.

Bringing glory to God by focusing on Him through helpful biblical spiritual practices like singing, communion, contemplative practice, prayer and giving.

Reading the Bible aloud and reflecting on it together.

Hearing and sharing stories of gratitude from people’s week.

The opportunity to pray for one another.

Take the time to share ways you as a group could assist someone in need.
